Amazon.com The Disney Channel hits paydirt again with this new musical featuring the popular Cheetah Girls. Led by Raven-Symone as Galleria (she gets three solo tracks), the aspiring pop stars hit Barcelona this time, and use the opportunity to sing a lot of catchy songs. The younger fans of High School Musical will dig this, especially since the movie's helmed by the same director, Kenny Ortega, and most of the songs are written by the same team. The kids perform most of the tracks together, Spice Girls -style: "Why Wait" is a zippy tune that's a little like Kelly Clarkson Lite, while "Step Up" incorporates R&B backings into an anthem-like chorus and several songs integrate Latin spices and additional vocals from guest Belinda Peregrin, a fab Mexican singer. Sounds like Disney is on a roll. --Elisabeth Vincentelli

Latin with a Cheetahlicious Twist! July 29, 2008 Bargain Shopper The Cheetah Girls just seem to be getting better and better. Their voices sound much stronger, and they each compliment each other in every song. I love how they incorporated Latin beats in both the movie and soundtrack. I enjoy every song on this track, the lyrics are positive, and it sends out great messages of friendship. I feel they should have included Raven in the Barcelona Mix of "Cheetah Sisters". Adding Belinda to the songs was also a nice twist to the Cheetah Songs. Once you buy this for your kids (or yourself!) You won't wanna stop listening. Great buy.
Even More Cheetah-licious Than The Original! January 9, 2008 BJay (Hilliard, OH) I love this soundtrack! Basically, Raven, holds this whole album together! She produced many of the songs on this soundtrack like "Party's Just Begun," "Strut," and more! This album is definitely fun for sleepovers, and if you want to listen to uplifting, and fun music!!!!
**GOOD FOR KIDS*** August 13, 2007 Canadian Girl (Los Angeles, CA USA) MY SEVEN YR OLD DAUGHTER LOVED THE MOVIE AND LOVES THE SOUNDTRACK! I LIKE IT TOO LOTS OF GOOD DANCE TO MUSIC!
The Cheetah Girls 2 (Soundtrack) July 5, 2007 R. Jackson (Columbus, OH) I love this one even more than the original! Raven-Symone sings the amazing song "It's Gonna Be Alright". Also others such as "Step Up," "The Party's Just Begun," and more!
Fun, fun music for girls! May 23, 2007 April (Georgia) This is some good stuff for pre-teen girls. My daughter enjoys their lively sound, fun fashion, and be-true-to-yourself lyrics. Parents, this is a good choice if you like to steer away from heavy boy-boy-boy lyrics.
