Instead, the listener manages to find uplift lurking beneath the weighty lyrics as the quartet churns out a series of anthemic, crunch-chord songs. The band moves from arena-ready light metal with "It's All Over" to the sex groove of "Animal I Have Become," before plunging the listener into full-on chaotic heaviness during the anti-alienation anthem "Riot" and easing us into the atmospheric future hit "Get Out Alive." Throughout, TDG remains true to its core alt-metal sound. Their music and lyrics are just so awesome!!!!!! I love hearing Adam's voice when he sings. If you ever have depression... you can always listen to this band. I recommand Never Too Late and One-X. Those are my favorite songs! I really love all of the songs on here! This band has changed people's lives. That's why I love this band! Whenever I feel sad... I'll always listen to them. They are really awesome live too! I really love it when Adam sings Alice in Chains's Rooster in concert. He's awesome!!!! Just buy it!!October 20, 2008 Soederberg Mattias(Uppsala, Sweden) This was a pretty easy buy, it came highly recommended from my son who is more into EMO than I am. However, it didn't take more than a quick listen to the sound snippets at amazon to convince me. The album is really melodic, yet at the same time pretty rough and with some attitude, so if you're into that kind of EMO this is the band to invest in.
