Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars a fitting tribute to the bayloft/exodus era, it kills all posers, dead!   October 24, 2007

this live recording is so well recorded and mixed It kills the original albums for me!this is the best i've heard these songs ever sound, thuderious, crisp, ballanced but still brutally live with Paul's half cocked crazy ranting and raving.still better than you could believe for a live cd.you must buy this cd heard the before or not you can't be a thrash fan without this cd.the one down fall is no rob mckillop sad but jack is a great bass player you can hear him in the mix, surprise.everything is clear to hear in this cd.

5 out of 5 stars DESTROY SOMETHING!   March 30, 2006

Exodus' first 2 albums, 'Bonded by Blood' and 'Pleasures of the Flesh' tend to suffer due to the weak production, sounding small and primitive next to the ultra-heavy, crystal clear sound of modern Exodus. This live album takes the best tracks from those 2 albums (they're all songs Paul performed, in case you're wondering why there's nothing else here) and pumps them full of that modern energy, so every single track sounds gloriously heavy and viciously fast.
If you're a fan of thrash metal then this is an essential purchase, the best album from one of the best bands in the genre!

o.k. so there's really like two exodus bands, there is the extremly crappy vocals and recordings of the old and very slow exodus and then there is this, pure heavy metal at it's best. i can't quite describe it because the difference between their live recording(this one) and there studio recordings are like the difference of night and day, I am still puzzled to this day why this is so fast and brutal and the other stuff is a joke. the only reason I gave it 3 stars and not more is out of respect to the higher scores. if it were a 1-10 rating system I'd give it a 7 and a half

I love this album, my brother downloaded one track from it about 3 years ago and as soon as I heard it I went straight down to the record shop and bought it. The guitaring, drumming and singing is quality and gets you so hyped up with a great track selectiion. I recommend this album to anyone who likes speed/death metal as it truely deserves my 5 stars.

5 out of 5 stars Look at us Now!   February 11, 2005

I just need to add my approval, the best live thrash album I've heard. Better than most studio ones too. This album kicks with the intensity that thrash had back in the late 80's, with the production of Andy Sneap. It's bone crushing, the guitars and drums sound fantastic. The performance is inspired. Baloff sounds like a maniac having a ball. I'm not 100% sure what he means half the time, but in a break between songs, when there's a bit of banter and some idiot in the crowd yelling "Just play....just play", the riff starts, Baloff bleats "Look at us Now!", the drums kick in and there's just a f$%K off level of power that no one could refute. Floored!
