This is a wakeup call for the ladies of the world. Not only did Ms. Scott mesmerize us with the sultry sounds of an experienced jazz singer, she also expressed a need for woman everywhere to look within themselves, and wake up to whats really going on with relationships, society, personal enrichment etc....a true "girl" CD.

I just don't know what to say. I am completly amazed by the kind of artistry this woman has shown us with this lovely collection of music. I am a singer myself and I hope that one day I too will make a CD that will touch one person as much as this cd has touched me.... If you don't have I dont know what ya waitin' for cause it doesn't get better than this

this blend of sensual, spiritual fonk breathes confidence. it makes you laugh, sigh, moan, and "i feel you, sistah!" over and over. put this into your cd player or tape deck; add musiq, badu, realizm, and of course my cd, and you'll never need to change your programming. the girl has class, style and down-to-earth talent. the blend of down-home "sanging", jook joint style, spoken-word, blues, and smack-talking works with the rythmic sessions.
