My Favorite R&B Album from 1990'sJuly 25, 2008 Robert M. Lisanti(Peekskill, New York USA) What can i say that hasnt already been expressed, I love all kinds of music, But Anita Baker just makes me melt inside when I hear her voice. Besides being an outstanding singer and performer she's simply a gorgeous woman. Every once in a while I throw on this cd and I just smile and relax. this is simply a "Classic" for R&B lovers.
Another Great Album From Anita BakerJuly 10, 2008 MizKyGirl(Waukegan, IL, USA) Compositions is a great album with a mixture of soul and jazz. This album is one of Anita's greatest work. You've never heard a soulful album like this before. The album is so wonderful and relaxing. My favorite songs are No One To Blame, Love You To the Letter, Talk To Me, Whatever it Takes, and More Than You Know.
Once again, you won't be disappointed by this delightfully soulful album. If I could, I give this album 10 stars.
Her Best CDMarch 24, 2008 Just a music lover(serving overseas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Compositions is her best CD in my opinion. All of the songs are silky smooth but my favorites are "Soul Inspiration and Fairy Tales." That piano solo at the end is FIRE!
SASSY ANITAFebruary 25, 2008 Sheila Massenburg I miss Anita, too. My taste in music may be as diverse as many others. I love everything from Bonnie Raite, Jill Scott, to Sarah Vaughn. If she dose start recording again, will her music be as memorable? I don't know if Anita really knows how her music is appreciated.
I loved this cd and everything on it.

I have a 6-disc cd player in my truck. In the last year, 5 of the slots have seen quite a rotation. But not Anita! I'm addicted! I have to hear this music every day. I hear something new in it every day, too. I don't think I'll ever be through with this album.
