Rhythm & Quad was SLEPTED ON SERIOUSLY!! September 13, 2007 Marlon Pitmon (Wichita,KS) This album should be ranked between the so so def bass All stars Series and Lil Jon's Put your hood up. This album defently bridges the gap between that era and our current era of hyphy. My favorite of the album is "player can't you see" by the A-town playas. Defently laking me back to my Highschool days and those Phatkat parties when it was cool to actually dance!! Myspace.com/djphatboi2000
Fair February 22, 2007 MIAMIBASS808 (LA, USA) Packed with bass, but the R&B elements of this one weaken it quite a bit
Icy cool hip-hop February 5, 2000 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you don't feel like listening to mainstream hardcore hip-hop with some dude talking about how much money he's got, or how he's the best MC or how he screw gold diggas and leave them, then I recommend this treat here. It's on the same jazzy, R&B level as Tribe Called Quest and it's something to lay back on. Check out " Playa can you see" and " Swing My way". Those two are definant gems.
This c.d. is great for getting parties going. November 2, 1999 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great c.d. for gettin some parties going, I played it at a big party last week and we're all the rump-shakin kind, LOVED IT, "swing my way" is just excellent.
