When I was in 8th grade, one of my best friends returned from Washington DC with this cd... I had never heard of Epitaph, NOFX (which is now my favorite band ever, along with the Ramones) or anything like it, we popped in the cd and probably played it 100 times in a row... it's a shame to see how crappy the punkoramas are now a days, with bland emo and even rap?!?! but punkorama 3 is good and 6 phenomenal... dont forget to check out the Fat Wreck comps either!

My freind got punk rock is your freind for easter and he said it was AWSOME. Since i had a gift card to barnes and noble i was like hey, what the hek? I'll look for it. Turs out they didn't have punk rock is your freind. But they had the next best thing. This CD. It rocks, all my fav bands are on therir like the offspring(one of best band of ALL time), bad religeon and new ones that i'd never heard of before but fell in love with, like the song crack in the universe, or dont call me white, or i wanna riot. By the way those songs that i just mentioned are my fav on the CD. This CD is definetly worth the money. BUY IT.

Punk O Ramo Vol. 1 is the best period you don't even have to hear all of the other ones. You can tell this one is just the most original because it's the first...duh! Some as they call themselves "punk" bands of day suck. They just suck like New Found Glory and Story of The Year, NFG has basically nothing but saying things that have no point, and Story of The Year are basically just covering songs off of Good Charlotte's The Young and The Hopeless. Trust me on that one. Get it and you'll see EXACTLY what I mean. But anywayz, Punk O Rama Vol. 1 is the best of all. You HAVE to have it in your punk collection!!!!!

I like this web site but it needs something and I think it needs
more punk bands, and since I already signed in I would like to
suggest some bands. If I could, I suggest that you put pennywise, pasta rocket, 1208, etc. I think you know which CD im talking about. In case you dont its called "off the wall" and I think its volume 4. Im not sure because I dont know how to read
roman numerals, but the first song is Enemy by Pennywise.well thats it.
