Awesome Soundtrack July 14, 2007 K. Huneycutt (Little Rock, AR USA) This is an awesome and historical movie score by the great Lalo Schrifin. The CD is pretty short but sounds great. Recommended for fans of old school Schifrin and die hard fans of "Enter the Dragon." If you like old school 60's and 70's action film scores like this one, check these out: Dirty Harry Cool Hand Luke Film Classics
great example of excellent 70's movie scoring! July 3, 2005 J. Grau (nashville,tn) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
first off, let me say that the version i have of this score is taken from the dvd. the audio can be selected alone. so, i went through and recorded the cues to my cd burner manuall(yes it was tedious but worth it). this way you get all the cues, plus nice, dvd sound. a great soundtrack in any format without a doubt!!!!!

I really love owning the original movie soundtrack to Enter the Dragon but I really do wish that every single piece of music would be included on the album. Most of the score is included but they need more
Absolutely Brilliant ! April 15, 2004 rkenter (Madras, Tamil Nadu, India) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Lalo Schifrin the composer had a real challenge scoring for Enter the Dragon due to its Chinese influence. The result is simply brilliant. Not only is this a great film, the sountrack is extremly well done. Definately buy the remastered version which is now available. Originally, the remastered CD version came out in 1997 along with the DVD box edition. There are several tracks not on the original release which is in MONO ! The new tracks are 1. The First fight 2. The Banquet 3. Headset Jazz 4. Into the Night 5. Goodbye O'Harra 6. Han's Cruelty 7. The Big Battle 8. Main titles (alternate take). Schifrin uses heavy orchestration including experimentation with new sounds but pays emphasis on double bass & tabla. For real film buffs, the score from this film sounds awfully similar to Joe Kidd done about a year ago (1972). For fans of film music esp from the 70's don't miss this one !
Good for its time but now somewhat outdated March 19, 2004 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The soundtrack from the film was great at the time it was first released on LP in 1973 but now it does appear outdated. Make no mistake about it, Lalo's track "The Human Fly" was a remixed version of a score used in the 1966 NBC series "T.H.E. Cat," for which Schifrin composed the theme music and episode scores. Worth owning for its nostalgic value to both Lee and Schifrin fans, but young people probably won't appreciate it a great deal, especially those to who Bruce Lee is a vague name.
