Relaxing Music? November 1, 2008 Perenial Pen (Wisconsin) I was hoping to find some nice calming, relaxing music to play in my classroom and home. This was a little too instrumentally loud.
Awesome, Relaxing, Great Music October 3, 2008 Tammy Bisgaard (Montana & Canada) I love, love this CD. It is very relaxing. I would buy this CD for a gift in a heartbeat. Did I say that I love this CD...
Some is relaxing, but... March 13, 2008 Dexbet (Colchester, Vermont United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
...some of it isn't so relaxing. Some of the pieces are so fast and dramatic that you want to skip the song. CHOPIN: Ballade No. 1 is a prime example. This piece is what you might hear in a restaurant to encourage you to eat faster! Some of the songs have orchestral accompaniment, which I didn't expect considering the title, but very good none the less. Included in this collection is RACHMANINOFF: Piano Concerto No. 2, the song Eric Carman based his 'All By Myself' pop song from the 70's on.
Solid collection of piano favorites November 9, 2006 H. G. Park 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
If you can gag your way past the album title, this is a most pleasant collection of beloved classical piano pieces that actually is relaxing, I suppose.
