The 1984 Summer Olympics Music September 12, 2008 R. Gong (Danbury, CT) I believe this started the Olympic music album series. All tracks on this album were great. I especially liked John Williams' arrangement of his Olympic Fanfare And Theme. Giorgio Moroder's song Reach Out wasn't bad either. Bill Conti's Power is inspiring. Let's not forget that the original arrangement of Bugler's Dream (as played on ABC when they owned the broadcast rights to the Olympics) is also included on this album. It would be glorious if this would ever be re-mastered and re-issued on CD.

Fantastic music, fantastic album. We bought the vinyl disc in '84, but lost it. Besides we don't have the hardware for playing vinyl records anymore. We sure would love to see someone reproduce it in audio CD.
