Best Nekromantix album of all times! January 30, 2008 Cille Skyum Andersen (Arhus, Denmark) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is, in my opinion, the best nekromantix album ever. It is their debut from 1990, and they haven't disappointed since, each of their albums is a spectacular psychobilly paradise.

Your Gonna Wind Up In The Electric Chair.... November 6, 2005 Cool Ghoul (Island Of Lost Souls) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Here is the first album from Danish Psychobilly madmen, the Nekromantix, recorded all the way back in 1989. The album kicks off with the semi-instrumental "Nekromantix" and then launches into fan-favorite "Hellbound". The Nekromantix brand of high-speed Psychobilly is showcased to perfection with wreckers like "Graveyard In Your Memory", "Ride Danny Ride", and "Blood Tide". But the Nekromantix aren't all about speedy rockers, the slow, spin-chilling stomp of "Brain Error" and especially "Nekromantic Baby" have become a staple of the Nekromantix sound. The album ends on a high note with a personal, high voltage favorite "Electric Chair". The production, while not amazing, is pretty good with plenty of slap-bass and exceedingly dirty guitar. The playing on the album, as with all other Nekromantix albums, is terrific. Kim Nekroman and Nekro Pete defiantly show that they are two of the top musicians in the Psycho scene. A great album with a very original sound that helped to progress the sound of the Psychobilly scene over the years.
don't listen to the music fan from sweden. July 12, 2003 matt (houston, tx) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This album's great. I have started listening to this type of music recently over the past couple of years and loved it right off. This band reminds me alot of the Cramps, Quakes, and the Meteors through the sound and subject matter. As I see it, unlike the 'music fan from sweden', anyone can listen to whatever music drives them. yeah, I heard of the nekromantix through tiger army, so what, does that mean I can't listen to other great music? I don't think so. You don't have to listen to a band from the beginning to be the only people to like them, that's not what music is about. And, I highly doubt that he was there from the beginning in the first place. Make up your own decision. You won't be disappointed. TAND.
