Salivating December 5, 2008 Stephen M. Turner (Minneapolis) I heard about these kids on NPR and was intrigued. I checked out some YouTube videos and became even more so. Ryan Perry has a maturity to his vocals and guitar work. Younger brother Kyle plays the bass with skill (he didn't like the guitar, apparently) but to watch little sister Tara play the drums can make the sourest music critic giggle. Merry Christmas! Contrast SRV's Austin City Limits DVD. You can see what they are aspiring to, that's all I could keep thinking of when I heard this album. This isn't champagne blues; its hamburgers, ribs and grease running down your chin blues. The arrangements and production are not 100%, but also think of Ted Nugent's first album (which in my opinion was his best) in terms of raw talent and skill. When is the next one coming out? With proper guidance and grounding these kids will remain true to their original goal and not get lost in the spot light, but just kick butt and create solid music.
Very Nice!! November 28, 2008 K. Lewis I enjoyed this CD so much that I purchased it as a Christmas present for a blues lover in my life. These kids do a great job of singing the blues!!!
Great group, would like to see more from them. October 6, 2008 Donna Anderson The service from this supplier was very prompt! This is a very talented group, would love to see more from them.
Young kids can get the Blues September 22, 2008 Beverly Kreiner (Ohio) My husband and I saw these kids at the Pittsburgh Blues Festival they are awesome incredibly talented for such a young age. The guys have signature guitars and the 9 year old drummer can keep the beat with the best of them.

What an amazingly talented family. So good to hear old-fashioned blues in a new package.
