Chris Brown CD December 23, 2007 L. Pino (New York, NY) Excellent CD. Some of Chris Brown's best music is on this album. High regards. Received in perfect condition, and quick and easy transaction.
Pleasant. November 23, 2007 Dri the Complex Lonely (USA) Excuse Me Miss, Run It, Say Goodbye, Poppin' and Ain't No Way (You Won't Love Me) are the standouts. Thank You and Run It (Remix) are stupid crappy songs and should have stopped filling the disc with pointless drivel. Anyway, this CD is decent fun. It is primarily Hip-Hop and R&B-fused production and there are some ballads present. Chris is a decent singer but now he needs to start writing some of his hits. He will be big in the future though. Just wait and see! 3.5 stars.
i know i'm a little bit older than most of his fans... September 24, 2006 Carol K. Urich (honolulu, hawaii) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
but i heard 'say goodbye' on my car radio and i had to admit, i was dancing to it!! he sings that song so good!!! i went ahead and got his cd to see what it was like and the songs are really nice! he has a great voice, but my fave is say goodbye! that's one of the best songs i've heard all year...

Im not saying he's not a good artist, it's just that...... i don't like it. All of the songs seemed to only entertain girls, and not all females, just the younger ones, e.g, 17 and under. The only songs witrh universal appeal are of course, THE SINGLES. And when i become an R& B singer, i will actually SING ABOUT WHAT KIDS ACTUALLY GO THROUGH. As if every kid loses their virginity. Anyway, i am saying, i have not been in love yet with a girl outside of my family, which is what most of the songs are about. Sorry, but ask yourselves, if he was ugly, would you like him? I don't. His voice sounds like he did not get professional lesons, like i am. Anyway, i gave it two stars b/c this is better than the other crap R & B males AGED under 25 that have came out lately, like Mario, Omarion, his brother, Bobby Valentino, and other people i know i will smoke when i get a deal of my own. I also gave it two stars, since the singles did impress me, SO cliche :( i know. Run It-Overused idea with the booming bass beats like Yeah/Goodies/Freek a Leek/etc. Yo is probably my favorite, his vocals have not drove me crazy on this track, plus, it's one of the qualities im looking for in a CD, originality WHILE being realitively simple at the same time. I really didnt care for Gimme That, it's not something a child should be talking about, since only children who can relate to that should like it. Im honest, i am clean, and focused, and that's why i did not like it. 2 stars. Try John Legend.
A Rising Star...Definitely July 21, 2006 ty jae (Atlanta, GA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This CD has not come out of my CD player since I purchased it right after the BET Music Awards Show a few weeks ago. This brother is AWESOME and is truly going places. I couldn't believe that he was only 17 or 18 years old. His future is already big and bright for him...all he has to do is just walk in it. He is truly a GEM..smooth, talented, nice looking, great physique...etc, etc, etc. He really knows how to bring the SOUND. I love the ENTIRE CD and strongly ENCOURAGE any and every one (young and old) to go out and get it today. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSATISFIED!!! Keep on keeping on CHRIS. Jaeda Atlanta, GA
