This is George Thorogood at his best, cookin' hot and heavy. It was made just before he broke onto the charts as a huge star, and the music here shows why he soared into national prominence. His youthful hormones combined perfectly with the emotional content of the blues, and what happened was a hot-rockin' disc. "I'm Wanted" gets your attention right away, and a bunch of good-time music follows on its heels, including a really blazing rendition of "House of Blue Lights." If you like George Thorogood, but you've listened to his big hits too many times and want something different but really good, this should fill the bill nicely. Up-tempo, feel-good, high-energy rock.

Love the Destroyers. Have been a fan since their 1st albumn. Great blues and rock & roll from one of the few still carrying the flame.
