Album Description Last Days at the Lodge is Lee's third record, following his first two critically-acclaimed and tremendously successful records, Supply and Demand (2006) and his 2005 self-titled debut. This 2008 record is produced by Don Was, and features Lee on guitars, Doyle Bramhall, Jr. (Eric Clapton) on guitar, Spooner Oldham (Neil Young, Aretha Franklin) on keys, Pino Palladino (The Who, D'Angelo) on bass, and James Gadson (Bill Withers) on drums, along with many others. 11 tracks.

Good, but not his best August 17, 2008 Gnu Amos Lee is a great musician/song writer, and he really shows it on one track of this CD. "Street Corner Preacher" is some of his best work and by itself is worth the price of the CD. The rest of the album is mediocre, however, so I would characterize this as a 3.5 star effort.
amos lee- last days at the lodge August 8, 2008 kat g. (california) amos lee's new cd is not what i expected, but... wow!!! upon first listen, i liked it (it's amos lee- how could i NOT like it. he's awesome!), but didn't love it. however, as i continued to listen, it started growing on me... a lot! it has now been over a month since i got it and it has not been taken out of the cd player. it is a different amos lee, but it is still amos lee. and he blows my mind everytime i hear him. this is a definite must-have!
Love it! August 7, 2008 Rushmore (CHICAGO, IL United States) I am a new fan, having heard AL interviewed on NPR. It is guaranteed calm-you-down music. He has a wonderful voice. Right now the song that in my head is Won't Let You Go - in fact, the song won't let me go. Amos Lee is that rare artist who reminds you of others (Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye), but is undeniably himself. I am excited to hear the rest of his canon.
Amos Lee from a new fan July 30, 2008 kayla (maryland) This was my first Amos Lee purchase and I really like all the songs! Then I had the chance to see him in person and that just made it even better. He is a truly great talent.
Amos Lee last days at the lodge July 28, 2008 C. Graven (Portland) If you are not a fan of Amos Lees, you are stealing from yourself. He is an amazing story teller with an amazing voice and style that evolves with him. There isn't one song, one note of any of his songs that I don't like, or love. Do yourself a favor, get all of his music..Then just continue to follow his career and. Not many musicians get to have a career. His is well deserved and he is a humble artist which adds to the attraction. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on Mr. Lee.. Forever a Fan, Carol in Portland
