I loved the movie and was immediately addicted to "falling Slowly". "Falling Slowly" is obviously my favorite song on the album but there are 2 or 3 other songs that I also enjoy quite a bit. If you want to hear other renditions from the movie or live cuts you should check out you tube. there are a few good live versions of "Falling Slowly" and some fun solo songs of Glen Hansard.

I would highly recommend whoever love the movie to keep the music sound track too. The performance is genuine, passionate, and revealing. Even though this one is more expensive than the other version, but this version contains the two bonus sounds which I also enjoy a lot:
14. And the Healing Has Begun
15. Into the Mystic
And it has the DVD features some episodes of their performance in real live and in shooting this film. It's true art living a real life among real people.
It's worth it.

I saw the movie "Once" in the afternoon. The minute it was over I was heading to the record store for the sound track. It is amazing. I cannot get enough of Glen Hansard, Marketa Irglova and now the Frames. The music is beautiful, the lyrics telling, the melody compelling. Like I said I cannot get enough.

I bought this CD after hearing a few short clips of some of the songs, and am sooooooo glad I did! One of the BEST soundtracks of the year, hands down.

There is a reason they won the Oscar for this one....the entire album is fantastic. Well worth buying.
