Album Description The Birth of Christ A Christmas Cantata by Andrew T. Miller This inspiring, musical celebration brings the Christmas story to vivid life as never before. Through song, the timeless characters beloved the world over: Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth and the Shepherds reveal their humanity and passion. Recorded live in Ireland, this historic premiere of The Birth of Christ brings together a chorus of Catholic and Protestant singers who for "One Blessed Night" put aside their sectarian differences and raised their voices in unity and peace around the central mystery of their faith. Featuring a narration of Luke's Nativity by Liam Neeson, this musical treasure will awaken you again to the startling wonder of Christmas.

Awesome - Totally Awesome May 17, 2008 L. Miller (Bear, Delaware) There are simply not enough adequate words for this awesome work. It is destined to become one of the masterpieces in music.
Perfect February 5, 2008 Vicky L. Graves I bought this for my Mother in Law. She is 89 and teaches a Bible Study class to the seniors in her area. She played the cd during one of her sessions and she said the class ran over. Everyone wanted to stay to hear the whole Cd. Thanks
Sublime January 24, 2008 C. Fulmer 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This music by Miller is the most sublime I've heard in decades. It is from a live recording, so the CD is not as clean as one would like, but that is nothing considering the quality of the music. BTW, the music is not just for Christmas.
A emotional high. January 2, 2008 D. Overly (Lacey, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The story of Christmas through this wonderful music. The emotion of the singers and director carried right through to myself. The substantial inclusion of John The Baptist & family gives the real dimension of the coming of Christ which most ignore. I bought copies for many of my friends. I can't wait for the Easter cantata in 2009.

This CD is awesome; very uplifting and edifying. I cannot wait for another Andrew T. Miller project in the future. Hats off to Amy Bils--her voice is angelic and haunting. I would recommend it anyone who wishes to augment their Christmas music collection--it will be their pearl!!
