love it! August 2, 2008 Jennifer Okumura (Alhambra, CA) i love this DVD/CD. i got it autographed at SURU in Los Angeles. i love Linkin Park, and unlike some other people that say they are true fans, i like the risks they are taking and the new sounds that they are creating. ;)
awsome cd March 27, 2008 Christopher Valentino (Huntingdon valley ,PA) this album is a gigantic step forward for the band they have branched out a tone since metora came out a few years ago. the DVD is cool to it gives you a chance to see how the album was made.
An album that keeps giving Summer to Fall...4 1/2 Stars. September 10, 2007 Jake (St Paul, MN United States) This is a great package with an album that keeps giving. Like albums of old that have so much texture that it easily makes the transition from summer CD to something you still want to listen to in the Fall The packaging is awesome and the DVD that accompanies it is a great hour long look into the recording process.
What They've Done.......Another Awesome CD! June 1, 2007 Jen (Colorado) I got this for my brother who is a mad fan like myself, and he loves me for it. Ever since LP hit the scene, it changed our lives. Their words and aggressive sound tells everyone's life stories as well as their own. And true the sound changed, but their message didn't, which is why I'm so glad I got a copy of M2M for myself, despite many disappointed 'fans'. Of course, since last November, I was well aware (unlike those who dissed this album to the ends of the Earth) that there wasn't gonna be the hip-hop/electronica sound that we all knew and loved them for in the beginning, but wow, no one, not even me was prepared for how different this album was, and I for one will say, the truest of the true LP fans will love it all the same. I admit, I miss the old sound, but whatever. IT ROCKS, IT ROCKS, IT ROCKS! Oh and to the haters, think on this, but don't hurt yourselves: It's been 4 years since Meteora (I was 15 and 11 months, do the math), a lot happened since then, and they're not the only ones who renovated what they were. And so what they put their 2 cents in on current events? We all should, right? I look forward to the successes this album brings for them, especially more lives they'll save, because they saved mine.

I'll echo the sentiments above that this album is definitely a change of pace from their earlier material. I'm surprised at how many good ratings there were though...I thought some people would be disappointed and mark it down because it is so different. Some people may still be disappointed, but they're keeping quiet based on past loyalty to the band. It's hard not to listen to this with expectations based on their past songs, and for that reason, I would urge anyone who gets this to listen to it a few times before figuring what songs you want to add to your playlists and which songs you like. After the first go, I only had one song marked for my favorites playlist. I set my computer to repeat the whole CD, and listened to it about four times. Then I decided I liked about 10 of the songs on the CD after I'd heard it for awhile. This is an album that will quickly grow on you if you're only lukewarm on it after your first listening. I've seen several lyrics sites that mention an additional song called "Hold Nothing Back" that is listed on this album, but I can't find a mention of it on any version that Amazon sells. I got the bonus version with the MVI disc, not on there. What's up with that? Where is this song found?
