Album Description This alluring soprano duo blends the hypnotic voices of Sasha Lazard, whose exquisite voice is rooted in the classical-electronica scene, and Shawna Stone, whose luscious voice has graced international opera houses. Executive produced by Grammy Award-winner Peter Asher, this duo have found a fresh, original approach to interpreting contemporary songs ranging from James Taylor ("Close Your Eyes") to Radiohead ("Fade out") to John Denver ("Per Te"/ "For You") to Kansas ("Dust in the Wind").
There are also such gorgeous operatic arias as Donizetti's "Una Furtiva Lagrima," an adaptation of Bach's "Air on the G String" and "Stabat Mater [XX]," a revisitation of the 18th century Italian composer Pergolesi.

They've completely butchered not only a classic Kansas song, but also my all-time favorite Radiohead song. If you can't write your own music, the least you could do is not recreate songs that don't need recreated to begin with. Some things are definitely better untouched.. or unsung in this case.
Didn't BLOW me away with their mediocre vocals....April 23, 2008 J. Huh(Sunny SC) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
These "opera" singers sound so much better singing more contemporary/pop style vs. the full-on classical...not they are horrible singers, but you know when you hear a vocal that is just nearly there but still isn't? Most of the track is JUST Ok. Period. If I had known this I would never had wasted my money on this CD. :(
