Pobrecito & Girl I Want to Lay You Down are the best songs. It's a silly album, but what do I know anyway?

I've know who ALO is for years but just got around to buying this CD about 6 months ago and was able to see them at The Echo Project in Oct. Hands down the best band to come out of this decade. Don't say you will buy this CD next time around because you will be just as pissed at yourself as I was.

As a new fan of ALO, I wasn't sure which album to purchase. So, like the genius that I am, I bought them all. In MY opinion, I believe this is their best effort. ALO is solid on all of their releases, I just think this one has the edge over the others. This band is enjoyable to listen to, the lyrics are decent, the musicianship superb. Slightly granola in taste with Grateful(ly) gratifying crunch. Highly recommended.

I saw them as a supponting band for Jack Johnson in Madrid (Spain)... they were playing with Matt Costa too... that night was great!!!
A nice band, so far... let's see in the future.
