Product Description Project Description: IN MY MIND THE NEW ALBUM IS ABOUT THE KINGDOM OF GOD, HOW IT REALLY DOES EXIST, AND IS AS REAL AS YOUR CAR OR YOUR KRISPY KREME DONUT, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR PROBLEMS. IF WE CAN FIGURE IT OUT, GOD HAS INVITED US TO LIVE in His kingdom in the midst of our regular existence. It is not a place of isolation and perfection, it is not far away where we cannot reach it. It happens at all the places where we intersect with each other. I hope the album is another reminder that the kingdom of God doesn't just come in the rally or worship event. It comes when I speak respectfully to my husband, and refrain from letting my anger spill over onto my kids, when I have an opportunity to gossip and refrain, when I open up my home, when I mess up royally, and have the stuff to go apologize, when I refuse to blame everyone else for my problems. These songs are about the beautiful character that grows out of seeing people through by loving God, and loving people. SARA GROVES Candidly truthful and compassionately hopeful, the fourth release from acclaimed singer-songwriter Sara Groves promises to be another creative expression of faith and relationships. This new project echoes Sara's first release Conversations, in its' intimate and honest lyrical journey. This is Sara's bridge building statement to fellow men pointing to the adventurous, transcending, life-changing Kingdom story. As a talented singer-songwriter, Sara offers an insightful and accessible view into the complexities of Christianity being walked out in a fallen world.

Good to Use for those dealing with difficult times. June 7, 2008 kindred spirit (God's Country) This was recommend to me to use in a Ministry I am involved with in my church. The songs are of great comfort to those going thru hard times. It reminds them of God's love and that everything will be alright.
Probably the Worst Sara Groves Album, Slow, Boring, and It Doesn't Even Have a Hit Song April 30, 2008 Bryan E. Leed (Dayton, OH USA) 0 out of 9 found this review helpful
ADD TO THE BEAUTY is the worst Sara Groves album, in my opinion. There is no Christian radio hit song on it, and it is very slow paced with no catchy song hooks or melodies. Her best album is CONVERSATIONS, with the ultimate Christian hit song "The Word," as well as other good songs with interesting Bible references or comments about the Christian life, like "Painting Pictures of Egypt." Conversations ALL RIGHT HERE is also pretty good. It has the big Christian radio hit "First Song That I Sing," as well as some other catchy songs, all with a nice, clean, lite rock sound. All Right Here THE OTHER SIDE OF SOMETHING album has the Christian radio hit song, "The One Thing I Know," and you should try to get this CD with the bonus extra CD that has a few demo song versions and interview conversation. THE OTHER SIDE OF SOMETHING is not really a good album, but with the bonus stuff, it is interesting. The Other Side of Something
This is a must own CD March 17, 2008 Jori Page (Chicago) "Add to the Beauty" is such a great album -- great songs and a shockingly great sound. This honestly is one of the best SOUNDING albums I have ever heard. You feel as though you are right there in the studio with Sara. Buy it!
Great Discovery January 18, 2008 Aloha-man (Baltimore) After seeing the "Ultimate Gift" and hearing Sara for the first time I ordered her CD. Now I'd like to get the rest of them. She has a beautiful voice, is an inspired writer and it all comes from the heart.
Another Sara Groves Project? Of course it's great!!! November 25, 2007 Indiana Jeff Reynolds (Indianapolis, IN USA) It is a Sara Groves album, so of course it's great! Good lyrics, good music. My favorite tracks are "Just Showed Up For My Own Life" (I can relate), "You Are The Sun", "How Can I Tell", "Kingdom Comes", and "Why It Matters".
