Album Description Jack's Mannequin, the angst-flavored, SoCal-vibed side project of Something Corporate's singer-song-writer Andrew McMahon, debuted live at SXSW and now debuts on album with Everything in Transit. Produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Alien Ant Farm), and featuring Motley Crue's Tommy Lee on drums, Everything in Transit offers yet another stage for the ethereal voice of an iconoclastic performer who is among alt-rock's most popular artists.

You know that question... November 2, 2008 Ryan Porter (Orange County, CA) about being stranded on a desert island with only three cd's of your choosing? This one is all you need. Every song is brilliant. Make copies and send to every one of your relatives, friends, enemies, and people you don't know.
Great Album October 21, 2008 Marina (Blythe, CA United States) I first heard two songs from this album on the tv series One Tree Hill. After listening to the song previews for all the songs, I purchased the entire album. Great group, great album.
Best album in years August 3, 2008 JM Big Fan (St. Louis, MO USA) I downloaded this album along with many others at the time (red jumpsuit apparates, new found glory, etc.) I have to say by far, the most listen to album on my ipod. I then went ahead and downloaded the entire something corporate portfolio. I'm now a big fan. This album isn't just for emo tweens and college kids. I'm 30!
Amazingly Done July 13, 2008 Steven Resnick (Portland, OR) I first learned about Jack's Mannequin when they made a guest appearance on One Tree Hill with the song The Mixed Tape and after that I was hooked on them. I've seen them live twice and let me tell you they are great live. Jack's Mannequin maybe a pop band but they bring great energy to their show and Andrew McMahon who is the lead singer has an amazing voice. The band plays with energy and enthusiasm which seems like most bands don't have anymore. The best songs on the CD are Kill The Messenger, The Mixed Tape, Dark Blue, Into The Airwaves, and Miss Delaney. The way Andrew plays the piano he gets everyone involved and that's what makes a band one they sound good and secondly crowd interaction and he's just got this great personality with his music and you just want to go along with the music.
I'm dissapointed in America with stuff like this people. July 6, 2008 Christopher R. Walsh (jackson, michigan United States) 0 out of 9 found this review helpful
This stuff is just plain yucky. Terribly annoying voice accompanying pretty bad music also. One song in the middle of the album came in with some somewhat melodic piano which turned sour about 8 seconds into and that was the best part on the album. Power chords, a high pitch voice, and just plain repetitive emotional bull people. None of the music is interesting. The guitar is mostly power chords with minor progressions or talented parts. Music nowadays is god awful pretty much everywhere mainstream in the United States. Some actual good musicians you might want to look into if your not into 60-70s stuff would be mostly people that attend festivals like bonnaroo or even coachella or more, not cram our ever horrible radio with stuff labels shove down our throat and force our stupid fickle nation into liking terrible things. My personal favorite modern band is Radiohead if you were wondering a specific band I would be comparing too. By the way I was introduced to this CD as a Amazon recommendation and I was looking for (hahaha) possible samples because i'm a producer/electronic musician.
