Another gem from Def LeppardJanuary 29, 2008 Barbara(Washington State) Although different from all of their other albums, "Slang" is a gem. This album shows the deeper side of the boys from Sheffield and I'm glad that they were not "afraid" to go a different direction. There comes a time when an artist has to get out the deep thoughts that are within and that's exactly what the members of DL did with this album. We are all made up of multi-dimensional personalities and it is good to see another side of the artists that make up this awesome group of talented perfomers. Thanks guys.
The best lyrical album yetOctober 28, 1998 Though it is a bit of a change from the usual Lep album, this is there best one to date. With a good mix of rock riffs and heart-felt ballads, this album is up there with the best. While you first hear the album you will find your sel asking if this is the same band that wrote "Pour some sugar on me" you find that it is and that it is some of the best written songs around. Its not just another rock album that you would come to expect from them, but one of meaning and look into the type of band that can broaden there fan base. This is truely one of the best albums ever written.
