Randy Travis Old 8x10 October 14, 2008 Peggy W. Willis (Davis, N.C. United States) This is one of my favorite Randy Travis albums. Didn't have the CD in this until now.
Pure, unadulterated, traditional country! May 8, 2006 Sharon Korchnak (Boardman, Ohio United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is one of Randy's best (which is saying a lot, I like all of his music) - second only to Storms of Life - I own this album in all media forms, from vinyl LP to CD - and I still savor each song as a treasure of pure country music!
Pretty good December 22, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
About half of the songs here are pretty good. The rest of them aren't worth listening to. They are slow and ponderous and a little boring.
Really smooth music for when you're in the mood... June 12, 2000 Sudarshan Purohit (Pune, Maharashtra India) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This album, as it stands, is realy good. Why doesnt it get a 5, then ? Because it's really good to listen to when you're in a mellow, emotional sort of mood, but not good enough to draw you into that mood if you're feeling otherwise. All the songs, especially the title one, are the quiet flowing type, perfect for putting on when you're trying to get some work done. And Mr. Travis' voice complements them perfectly in it's smoothness.
