| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com The film was an expensive flop and the soundtrack isn't much better, consisting as it does of previously-released tracks from heavier-than-thou bands like Cop Shoot Cop, Helmet, Rollins Band, and KMFDM. A Bono/Edge instrumental from the Achtung, Baby sessions is a bonus, and the Stabbing Westward single, "Nothing," may alert consumers to that band's own product. --Jeff Bateman

A few good songs. Not an exquisite CD. June 26, 2008 John T. Mudge III (Kent, WA USA) Some of the songs on this CD -- especially "Virus" and "Alex Descends Into Hell For A Bottle Of Milk" -- are worth buying the CD at the price offered used. A couple bucks is about how much you'd pay for those songs as MP3 downloads, anyway. These songs were a better fit for the movie, but on their own they seem quite lacking. The movie was definitely better.
I can't praise this too highly August 6, 2002 Cybersquid (El Toro, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The soundtrack is better than the film. I liked the film, but the soundtrack is great. Track 8 (Alex Descends into Hell for a Bottle of Milk/Korova 1) is one of my top 10 songs of all time - try to find it elsewhere. The only wastage on this disk is track 10, an obligatory bit of "soundtrack" music from the films composer. Everything else is really, really good. And yes, this is the disk that turned me on to Stabbing Westward. That is a good thing.
Very average soundtrack for an underrated movie August 28, 2001 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The film was unjustly attacked by critics, but it still was a good adaption of the novel and was visually stunning. The soundtrack is nothing special, just average retro-rock punk of these days and in my opinion trash. Ice-T doesn't appear here once, dont ask me why. Perhaps he thought this was a waste of time too, which would be a good career move anyway. Dont buy this, watch the movie instead.
