Head and shoulders above the restOctober 3, 2007 Edward Rasen Jr.(Maui) This album rocks, plain and simple. If you like real Rock 'n' Roll then buy this British reissue of old hits. I long resisted listening to the Fat Man because I thought he was ancient, old school. But, my ignorance and prejudice deprived me of endless hours of enjoyment.
If you enjoy rock 'n' roll, like to tap your foot or feet, or wiggle your hips, then this will fulfill all your dreams and desires. And, Fat's backup band is awesome. The piano player reminds me of Jerry Lee Lewis.
God, I wish Fats was still around so I could see him perform live. What a fool I have been. Wherever you are Fats, thanks for rocking and spreading the joy. Mick Jagger is a poseur compared to you.
