Amazon.com One of Latino Rock's hottest acts is recorded live, stadium style, with screaming fans and all the ambience of a major rock event--which is what this is. The only difference between Mana and a Police concert is that Mana is in espanol. Armed with their own original material and shuffling pop reggae beats, Mana prove they are every bit as good as their source of inspiration, not just on record but also on stage. They have enough thematic twists of their own to avoid any criticism as a "knock off" act, and have built a following that marks them as the heirs apparent to Selena's pop crown. World Music fans may be dismayed at this blatant assimilation of western pop culture, but this excellent recording proves that this group has hit rock's Big Time--on their own terms. --Derek Rath

Awesome CD March 29, 2006 Peter Sultzbach (FPO, AA United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These guys are great live. I've been to 2 of their shows on different tours and in different countries, and the sound is incredible. Had this been an english-singing rock and roll band, this CD would be among the classics like Frampton Comes Alive and The Song Remains the Same. The way the fans respond to the songs just gives this CD such a great feeling to it. It reminds me of the way fans cheer at a Pink Floyd Concert the second the realize "Wish You Were Here" is beginning. And not to mention the songs are great songs. So don't let the language barrier get in the way. Get this CD now!, and the sample music here on Amazon does not do the disc justice. try it out.
Mana gives my life momemtum May 22, 2005 Peter Anthony Jones (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I admire Mana for having put moving and meaningful lyrics to such attractive accompaniment. Mana is my favorite band of all time, and I have spent the past 5 years with this CD and others of Mana, listening to them nearly once per week since I bought them in September, 2000.
Mana-En Vivo March 7, 2003 DEBORAH SERVEY (ERIE, PA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purest Mana, right before the addition of current guitarist Sergio Vallin, but it doesn't sound at all stripped down or bare. Mana's live performances are incredible, and this CD is a true testament to that. The music went straight from show to CD, no added engineering. Pure, raw energy as only Mana can give you. A must-have if you are a diehard Mana fan, a gotta-get-it if you are new to Mana.

Mana En Vivo January 6, 2002 Frank P. Carlos (TEXAS United States of America) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The voice and rhythm of this band can compare itself to the famous Peter Frampton Alive. Not only does this band employs the Caribbean sounds of marimbas and its incomparable rhythm it actually deploys the purity of soft rock with the hard rock instruments making an extreme pleasurable listening experience. Every elevator should carry this album in their repertoire. I am sure would spend hours going up and down any building.
