A Pleasing Non Traditional Patriotic AlbumMay 19, 2008 Old House Lady(Montana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I think this is a delightful album, and the 101 Strings Orchestra did a very fine job. This is not a traditional march album with lots of brass; it is a pleasing rendition of familiar tunes using different instruments. I would recommend this album to anyone seeking an alternative to the traditional march music in an appropriate and respectful manner.

It's just wrong to have string instruments playing John Phillip Sousa. If we had noticed that it said a string orchestra was playing the music, we probably wouldn't have bought this cd.
