Product Description This NYC four-piece started out as an "old man hobby" and turned into the best psychedelic rock 'n' roll band in the city (maybe country, possibly world). Endless Boogie jam, then jam some more. They lock in grooves so tight there's no escape - like entering a black hole, that last second stretches out forever. The only thing keeping them from living up to their name is the physics of the compact disc. The perfect soundtrack to hot summer nights. Hanging out in the basement. Smoking figs in the yard. The double LP is presented in a deluxe old-style tip-on gatefold jacket and comes with a bonus track and digital download coupon.

If you take the vocals of Zappa/Beefheart/Stack Waddy and Lemmy, with the music chops/jamming of QMS(happy Trails),Hawkwind,Edgar Broughton Band,Airplane's(bless it's pointed little head),ZZ Top,Zappa,Beefheart(trout Mask Replica)and all the other important albums of the past few decades, mix them all up,you'll get Endless Boogie. 79 minutes of pure bliss. I also reckon it would make the perfect soundtrack...God knows what the film would turn out like, but it would be a classic. In my desert island 5 cd pick,I'd take 5 copies of Focus Level, I might just wear them out one by one.
The Stooges meet ZZ Top August 7, 2008 A. Woodley 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really dig this CD. The music is raw with some touches of psychedilic. It's also got some great jam blues tones running through it. I've heard complaints that the lead singer's voice is bad but it's just rough, ragged, and soaked in whiskey. To me it really sounds like Iggy and the Stooges crossed with ZZ Top. A great raw rock albums. Buy it.
