Walking through a "record" store years ago, I heard a kick-a$$ instrumental followed by an awesome blues tune. I just stood in the aisles and listened to the whole recording, then bought it and rushed home! One of his best, if not THE best. Sadly taken from us just as he was hitting his prime...
Every album Stevie put out is excelent. This is no exceptionFebruary 9, 1999 If you love the blues then you will love Stevie. No matter what album it is he can not be topped by anyone the smooth riffs and snappy beats are sure to get anyone hooked on him. In my opinion, he is no dout the best there ever was.
Great blues/rock guitar discFebruary 7, 1999 Grea
probably his best albumJanuary 13, 1999 A very listenable-to blues album indeed... a bouncy opening track (House is Rockin') followed by several prime cuts of blues - Tightrope, Crossfire, Leave my girl alone, and Wall of denial are my favourites, great guitar, flowing rhythm, and some exuberant flourishes.
